Nashville has received a tremendous amount of rain over the past 3 days, totaling 15 inches in some areas. Sunday we didn't leave home but did take a walk down the street to Vaughn's Gap to see the rushing water. This was only the beginning to the amount of flooding that occurred. This is the intersection of Percy Warner (our street) and Vaughn's Gap.
We previously lived at 48 Vaughns Gap. Do you have any photos of that section. We are so worried about our previous home because it was along a small stream. How can we help with the disaster? We are thinking of driving up to Nashville (we now live in Florida) to help. Thanks for any insights.

Dick - I am unsure of the address numbers of where flooding was or wasn't. I do know there were areas under water such as this and others untouched. Nashville has set-up a volunteer program thru www.handsonnashville.org, you can register there and look by task or date on a calendar for what the needs are and sign up directly! I know they will be needing volunteers for the coming months to get everything back in order. Thanks for your inquiry and support!
