Today is a BEAUTIFUL day - blue skies and sunshine. This flower made me smile as it glistened in the sunlight!

Simple Moments

A pretty flowering bush off the beaten path- all alone, flowering for those who make an effort to notice. The speed walkers and joggers don't even glance, but for those interested in taking time to enjoy nature and look deeper, these are some of the beautiful moments that abound. Isn't that the same in some aspects of life? It takes "digging deeper" to find the true beauty rather than rushing thru the formalities of life.

Winter's Wildflowers

Fields full of 2009 wildflower skeletons abound. Pretty soon (hopefully) the brown will fade away and color will come back letting us all know it is officially Spring.

In Memory of Yia Yia

Today is the one year memorial for my grandmother, may her memory be eternal. I pray that she is resting in peace, and enjoying her next life with my Papou. :) I will never look at spring flowers the same as I did in her yearly garden.
